I'm trying to setup a win7 guest running Lync, and soon noticed that there is some issues with "importing" the microphone from the host-OS into the guest-OS. I'm running VB 4.2.4 on a opensolaris host w/latest extensions.
Since I was not able to use the microphone from the host-OS, I bought a USB headset w/microphone from Logitech, and disabled
sound in the VB gui, and filtered in the USB headset. (I think this sounds like a good idea !)
I still cannot use the microphone. speakers are OK, but there is no response from the mic.
any suggestions?
(No, there is no "driver" from logitech with this kind of equipment)
