Is it possible to use an MTP device on a Windows guest? I'm trying to sync DRM files across, but the software reports the device is not MTP. It worked when windows was native not virtualised.
Host OS is Ubuntu 12.10
Guest OSs I've tried are Windows 7 and XP.
The device is detected, appears in windows etc. There is an error in the system logs on Windows for MTP but nothing useful comes up if I Google it.
Is MTP possible over virtualbox or is the handshake impossible?
MTP
