HOST
Dell Notebook
WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM -
INTEL i7, lots of RAM and disk....
Running laptop monitor and 23 inch monitor
as dual monitor system.
virtual guest - Windows vista home premium
problem: bugged me forever to upgrade so I did to 4.2.4
upgraded with no errors and extension pack fine.
when loading virtual guest it loads slow..., then the mouse
only works near the top of the screen, sometimes leaves
trails down a small distance, then disappears. Taskmanager
on host shows little to no useage. Keyboard input mostly
works on guest- very very slow. mouse is useless. network
inoperative.
I also tried creating a new virtual machine setup for the
virtual drive. worked the same bad way.
I downgraded back to 4.1.22 and everything is fine like
before.
I tried every combination possible on the settings, but
to no avail, it never would work enough to be able to
use it. Even booted guest in safe mode. still didn't work.
funny thing....the preview window would show correctly
(no mouse cursor) and would update, but not
the window the guest was running in.
anybody have any ideas on how to fix it?
Thanks!

I wish I had known BEFORE I downgraded.

Should I run this on the 4.2.4 platform that does not work or on the 4.1.22 platform or both?
