I have downloaded .iso files of openSUSE and xubuntu. The md5 checksums are fine. But when I try to start a new virtual box with one of them I get the following type of error:
-----------
Failed to open a session for the virtual machine xub_Box.
Failed to load VMMR0.r0 (VERR_SUPLIB_WORLD_WRITABLE).
Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component: Console
Interface: IConsole {db7ab4ca-2a3f-4183-9243-c1208da92392}
------------
By "start a new virtual box" I mean that I select the .iso file when the dialog box comes up after the 'hint' the first time I click 'start'. I get this error and then I get it every time I try to 'start' after that. Just as a note, the controller IDE is listed as this .iso in the settings for the virtual box.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Re: Trouble starting from .iso
Run the Repair Disk Permissions using DIsk Utility on your MAC host then it should work.
