windows guest freezes after sleep

If Im running guest windows 7 and close my laptop (host snow leopard), sometimes (not always, but often when I have SAS running) when I try to open the laptop, it will look as though windows 7 is paused, but I am completely unable to do anything. I have to hard boot my mac to regain control. Ive even waited for a half hour or more for the computer to "figure itself out" with no results.

Ive had it happen once or twice where the guest doesnt look paused, but I still have no way to gain control.

Ill note again that this is not a constant, although it does seem like it is more likely to happen after the computer has been asleep for more that an hour or so and it also seems like it has happened more lately. Other than this issue I have never had any problems with the guest.

Any ideas? anyone else have this problem?

Have you adjusted the power settings of the Windows system to never sleep?
The power settings are accessed via the screen saver settings.
