I started my virtual machines 2008 R2, and 2003 this morning, and when I attempt to login to either of them I get 'The user name or password is incorrect' response. All of my virutual machines use the same User ID and Password. It appears that the keyboard is not being recognized correctly. My Windows XP Virtual that does not have a password boots up correctly. I have restored all of my snapshots down to the initial install of 2008 R2, and still get the same response. I've checked the keyboard in the host OS, and it is working correctly. These virtuals were working correctly when I powered them down on Thursday. Is there any way to recover them without having to start over?
Thanks,
Robert M.

Re: Login Failure
Type your userid and password into Notepad in plain text in the working VM. You may also be able to start up one of the broken VMs in safe mode. Pin down which keys are incorrect, if any. Then we can discuss the matter further.
Make sure it isn't something stupid like caps lock or numlock being set an unexpected way.
