Re: Problems for running VBox in W8
It appears that you are not selecting the 64-bit when creating a new guest. io apic would have been enabled if you had.

Thanks for your answer, Perryg.
I enabled the IO-APIC but still appears the same problem even establishing a new virtual machine.
Many thanks

Re: Problems for running VBox in W8
When you create a new guest there is a pull down window (version). It probably defaults to just Windows 8 or Windows 2008, but if you click the drop down arrow it should also list Windows 8 (64 bit) or Windows 2008 (64 bit)
Re: Problems for running VBox in W8
Thanks again, Perryg but it doesn't work yet.
It doesn't matter in which PC try to setting it up. Always appears this message:
File: \windows\system32\boot\winload.exe
Status: 0xc000035a
Info: Attempting to load a 64-bit application, however this CPU is not compatible with 64-mode.
IO APIC is enabled.
ISO I'm using has been downloaded from Microsoft page.
I've tried to do it like you told me in your last message as well.
Thank you anyway!

Re: Problems for running VBox in W8
I was trying to find a solution to my problem yesterday and I got download a 32 bits ISO of WServer 2008 and It ran properly at VBox but however It was empty!!( I just could see the main blue screen after logging but without icons or Init button) (??) so I couldn't do anything with it.
To be honest, I can't think what else I can do...
