I have my virtual box running an xp operating system on a windows 7 machine. I don't use it very often.
Every time it asks me to upgrade to a newer version I do.
Today I needed to print something from the virtual machine and it says it can't find the printer. It turns out the machine is no longer on the network to the computer that has the printer.
Using windows explorer, it can see the host machine , but can not see the other computer on the network. I tried to get it back on the network, I tried to map a network drive and nothing works.
PLEASE HELP.
Thanks

Re: can't get back on network
From the hosts terminal/command window type VBoxManage showvminfo <VM Name> --details and post here. Replace <VM Name> with the actual name of the VM. Use " " if the name has a space in it.
Note if the host is Windows you need to be in the directory that has VBoxManage.exe for the command to work.
