vRDP authentication

Post by jaaason »

Has anyone had success using guest or external authentication for vRDP on an osx host? I'm using a Windows 7 guest, and I can connect to vRDP with null authentication. I'm using the Windows 7 Remote Desktop client. I've tried logins for the host and guest in both external and guest authentication, but I just get an error, "Your remote desktop session has ended. Your network administrator might have ended the connection.

When using external authentication on osx, is it looking for any account on the osx host, or is there some special directory service or group that you have to add your account to?

OSX 10.8.2
VirtualBox 4.2.4

Yea, saw that. It doesn't explain why it's not working for me. Any ideas?

Not without you posting what you have actually done. So far all I know is it does not work for you.

Okay well, as I said above,

I've tried logins for the host and guest in both external and guest authentication
