VirtualBox: Snapshots

Hello good, I have installed virtualbox, and I'm testing different operating systems, I have the machines created in an external hard drive .... The problem I have is that when I catch the snapshots, I was not saved on my hard drive external. The sanpshots installed in my internal hard drive in C: \ Users \ hector \ VirtualBox VMs (my OS is Windows 2007). How I can change this?

That is because you incorrectly chose to locate a VDI outside the VM folder. You should instead locate the entire VM folder on the other drive, and everything that belongs to the VM should be kept in that folder.
