I'm setting up a virtual machine to view webpages in IE8. From what I understand, the virtual machine offered by Microsoft (which can be imported to Virtualbox) expires every 30 days and has to be re-created. To avoid the hassle, I'd like to automatically rollback my vm to its last state when I shut it down.
Is there a way to do this? If there's not built-in solution, is there some kind of command-line trickery I could use to accomplish this? (for instance, setting up a cronjob to delete the current state, forcing it to roll back to the last snapshot)

Re: Auto rollback to snapshot?
See the user manual, immutable drives. This will not stop the software expiring however.
