Upgrade Win8 does not work

Hi,
I cannot upgrade Win 7 tot Win 8 by using the upgrade license. After hours of waiting it finaly stops and resets to Win 7.
Does anyone know this problem and the solution?
(It says something about a driver IRQL not beiing compatible)
