Firstly I'd like to thank the people who helped me in my previous topic (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=52338), where I managed to get internet working on a Windows 98 SE virtual machine.
Now I've turned my attention to Windows 95. I managed to install it without many hiccups and all I need left is internet access. Yeah, again.
The first thing I tried was what I did with Windows 98: tried to set up the internet by using LAN. This time, however, it doesn't seem to be working right. Whenever I type anything into Internet Explorer, it gives me an error: "An unexpected error has occurred. Restart Internet Explorer and try again". Maybe I set it up wrong?
As with Windows 98 VM I have the virtual adapter as PCnet-FAST III (NAT). I went through the configuration that first appears when you launch "The Internet", selected the middle option (Manual), and then Connect using my Local Area Network. There's a time it asks me for proxy settings and I just leave it unchecked. After restarting, I can't open any pages on Internet Explorer.
Can someone help me?
