filesharing in windows 2012 server to host machine issue

hi there,

i have installed windows 2012 server recently. i have trouble sharing the folders in my windows 2012 server. network is not functing.
where as my xp home system do not have any issues in configuring the shared folders.
i hvae installed the guest additions, then enable ICMPv4 from the server and host. some thing is missing.

can some one assist me in fix this problem.
