You need to enable it in the guest settings or from the guests device tab.

I'm running VirtualBox version 4.2.4. "Bidirectional" HAS been set in both the guest settings and the guests device tab. It does not work. I am unable to copy the text of a model .bashrc file from my PC running Windows 7 professional to my guest Linux Mint 13 .bashrc file. A simple copy and paste job which should work.

Please test this yourself.

Thank you.

I wouldn't have told you if I didn't know it worked. However you are having issues and that needs to be addressed.

Post the guests log file (as an attachment)
See Online Users Manual for the location of the file.

SOLVED (at least for me & my issue) Re: Copy & Paste

Once I added the first line of my guest .bashrc file to read

#!/bin/sh -e

I had no problem copying the text from my Win7 model file and pasting it and all of my other copied lines. I'm sharing this info in hopes it helps others like me.
