Hi need help here please !
I have installed sever 2008 on a Dell server having single ethernet adap with static IP 192.168.1.50 for the pupose of "RD session host server" and have then installed server 2003 which is a Domain controller and DNS server within Virtual box with static IP 192.168.1.100 and have assigned static IP to virtual host only network 192.168.1.130 with DHCP off and has virtualbox network settings as "Attached to: Bridge adapter", now the problem is i am not able to ping my host (server 08) from my guest (server 2003) and i cannot ping the DC from host (server 08), i have tried "Attached to: host only adapter" but same issue. Below is the IP config from both host and guest

Firstly if you are using Bridged you don't need the host-only adapter unless you also want it to be usable when you are not connected to the LAN.
I would make sure that ICMP is in fact enabled as by default it is not these days, and if it is I would check for a firewall issue.
