On my host, I use Virtual Box 4.1.0 (it's the same problem with the last version 4.2.2).
Fort all my virtual machines (xp, 2003, Debian, etc.), when i plug a network wire, the host (physical) freeze (and all my virtual machines).
I've found it's not for all my physical network cards:
- for motherboard network card, no problems (Gigabyte H61M-D2-B3),
- for the two others cards (TP-Link): the host freeze. If the machine don't freeze, all is working fine.
Is it a known problem ?
Is there a solution (if possible, without changing my TP-Link netwok cards) ?
