Expansion pack 4.2.2 cannot install

I am new to this forum stuff... but I thought I should give it a try before I give up on Oracle Virtualbox.
I have downloaded VBOX 4.2.2 and the expansion pack but when I try to install the expansion pack I am getting the error I have pasted below. Please help... I have a class that is starting on the 25th and need to be able to use the USB functions for the mouse.
From what I am understanding it says that the library that is in the expansion pack is the one for 4.2.1, and it is looking for 4.2.2.

Reason: Incompatible library version: VBoxPuelMain.dylib requires version 4.2.2 or later, but VBoxVMM.dylib provides version 4.2.1.
