VirtualBox 4.2.0 or high are no longer color background

Hi Guys,
I am legally-blind and deaf, I love virutalbox but I am bad feeling . Version 4.2.0 or high, no more color, ony white on background but old to 4.1.8, I can read, you see picture Before and After
I cannot update 4.2.0 or later, I keep 4.1.8
I can read, version 4.1.8 or old
I cannot read, version 4.2.0 or high
Please fix normal background or black high contrast ?
