Netbook.
CPU:Intel Atom N280 1.66 GHz, 667 MHz FSB
RAM: DDRII 1GB
HDD:160GB SATA 5400 rpm
OS: Windows XP Pro sp2

Is it possible to have this netbook as the host for a guest of Win7 Pro 32b. on Virtualbox?
And can run normally?

Thank you.

While it may be possible it won't run very well. How much memory does Win XP need? I think you can't reserve more than 512MB for the VM, 768MB is absolute maximum. That CPU is also really slow. I ran Windows 7 preview on my old desktop computer with 2GB of memory (1GB for the VM) and Athlon64 3000+ (1.8GHz) CPU and it was really sluggish.

Thank you very much for sharing your experiences.
In this case, I will simply forget it.
Maybe, I shall think about playing with virtualization when get a new PC.
