Display color temperature

Hello,
I notice the color temperature of the host display becomes cooler (toward blue) when VirutalBox starts and goes back to normal a few seconds after all VMs and VirtualBox exit. This has been 100% reproducible so far. I will install Adobe Photoshop Lightroom soon on the host, thus the side effect on color temperature will be inconvenient. VirtualBox is 4.2.1, OS X is 10.8.2. Any ideas, please?
