My Windows Slows down my Ubuntu Guest

I use Vbox to run ubuntu linux. and all PC's that i use it on are windows 7 64 Bit.

but i have been getting a wierd problem lately, and i cant figure out what is the cause.

first 6 months went without errors, i had full speed and no problems. I use the vbox for my developing environment for ruby on rails and thats it. so i dont strain it at all.

but after a while whenever i try to run the webrick server from rails it loads and shows its ready. then the moment i try to connect to localhost:3000, the guest starts hanging. it acts the same way as when encountering a infinite loop.

MY pc at home used to run it fine, but then one day it did this slow down. so i loaded an old backup of the guest and it worked again. but now when i install that same guest again to the same PC it still slows down.

at my work this has happened to my work pc aswell now. new or old version, whenever i try to run to connect to the webrick server then it starts hanging like an infinite loop.

firstly, no code was change, and my updates for everything is always automatically disabled to ensure constant stability.

below is a log of my work PC, will update later my home PC log.

the last time i had this error on my work pc i also had to format the PC, when i reinstalled the same guest that WAS lagging on the freshly formatted server it worked flawlessly again. thats why i assume this problem lies with the windows 7 Host.

i appreciate any help i can get on this matter.
