Have you installed the guest additions?
What version of VBox?
Where did you get it from?
What Ubuntu guest version?
What host?
What...what...what...?

You need to supply a lot more information. Also attach you VBox.log file (found in "/Logs" of the VM's folder) and maybe someone can help.

Alright, I was wondering if this was a common issue, I have had this issue with ubuntu 11.10, 12.04, 12.10, and now Elementary Luna Daily. But I will go through the process now that I know that there is no easy answer.

I do have VBox Additions installed. It works as well as ever as far as I can tell.

I have the current version of VBox, 4.2.0.

I have a Windows 7 SP1 Host.

As I said before it is Elementary OS Daily. Build from 10/06/12.

Thing function fine until I go fullscreen. Everything works fine, but in fullscreen the screen will only move in fits and starts every few seconds. Everything I do is taken in so I think the issue is limited to the display.

Ok. It seems the issue had to do with me enabling 3D Acceleration. I knew I had solved this issue before but I couldn't remember how. Now with 3D acceleration disable my fullscreen works fine. But it may be me but things don't seem to run as smoothly.
