VM Description in the UI

In earlier versions of VirtualBox, it was possible to edit the Machine description to include
* HTML Bold elements <b>bold text</b>
* HTML Anchor elements <a href="someurl">text</a>
* HTML Break elements <br/>
Now, we appear to be limited to what appears to be HTML Bold elements.
We can still use SHIFT-ENTER to put newlines in the description but newlines are soaked up, meaning there appears to be no way to insert a 'blank' line in the description.
How can I make my VM descriptions somewhat more readable?
