Getting pointer to move from window to window without CTRL

Hi all,
I am using the most recent version of virtualbox and it's expansion pack, I have previously used older versions where what I describe below was working perfectly, however the settings and everything I see between the two systems (old one which is fine and new version that doesn't)

I would like the mouse pointer to move from virtual machine window 1 to virtual machine window 2, 3, or 4 without having to use the control button to "release" the mouse each time i want to use a different window.

In case you need this info to help me- I am running an android image in the virtual machines...each machine is a clone of the master machine.
I run 4 machines (i have 4 virtual machine windows open) at the same time.

I haven't been able to figure out how to make this work, it's the only issue I have with my virtual machines. PLEASE HELP if you can :)

installing the guest additions is the only way. of course that depends on the guest being able to actually use the additions.

Android is not a supported guest OS, so no guest additions, and no integrated mouse.
