What for a install CD? Recovery CD from a real cd or a standard/full Windows CD?
There is no difference to a real install, the only problem is to boot from the cd. if cd does not work, you can try to make an iso image from it and install it from the iso image.

If you know how to install a guest OS from an ISO then using a CD is just the same: just associate the virtual CD drive with a physical host drive letter instead of an ISO file.
However, I find that it's good practice to make an ISO image (most CD burner apps have the ability to make an ISO image of an existing CD, I use the freeware ImgBurn app), and store it in an folder with other ISO images. That way the next time you need that CD you know where to look for it, plus it guarantees that the host can't interfere, and also that you can't accidentally install on the host!
