I am running OpenSuse 11.4 x64 and after updating to VirtualBox 4.2 version I've also updated VM addons to latest version inside Windows 8 guest (right before reboot message video resolution changed). Last time, when VBox was 4.1.22 I have done command
/usr/bin/virtualbox/vboxmanage setextradata "vmname" "CustomVideoMode1" "1680x1050x32"
but now I can't. After running command and power up guest VM there is no 1680 x 1050 video resolution anymore.
I powered off VM and also turn of VBox gui when executing command.
Also I've seen different examples with or without quotes, but above example is from VBox manual.
Is there any command with which I can see which CustomVideoMode are set for VM ?
Any suggestion ?
