after I managed to resize the partition/hard drive/image/whateverof the Ubuntu 12.04 in a VirtualBox (VirtualBox 4.2.0 in Windows XP) I got the message:
I click on "Reconfigure graphics" which show me two options:The system is running in low-graphics mode
Both both options just return to the same menu. I have a large xserver log file, which I am unable to post right now.- Use default (generic) configuration
- Use your backed-upconfiguration
Chosing te point "Run in low-graphics mode for just one session" gives
but nothing happens, it hangs indefinitively. But I am able to login to a console.Stand by one minute while the display restarts hangs
Any ideas how I can fix this? Or should I just remove everything and install a new Ubuntu box from scratch? Does this have to do with the resizing of the VirtualBox? (It must be, because I had not had this eror before. )
Thank you very much,
Alex
