Truecrypt inside of Virtualbox

I am upgrading to a new laptop from an old one. My old laptop was running Windows 7 32-bit, and had the system partition encrypted with Truecrypt. As I am migrating everything over to the new computer, I'd like to have a virtual copy of my old laptop in case I forgot a file or something. The new laptop is running Windows 7 64-bit.
I used disk2vhd to create a virtual hard disk of my old laptop.
I am able to mount this vhd in Virtualbox. I see the password prompt that I would see when I would boot up my old laptop. But I can't input my password.
Is what I'm trying to do possible? If so, any ideas why Virtualbox wouldn't let me input my password?
