Hiho!
I noticed that the SSD checkbox goes unchecked after I reboot a VM. Should this be a normal behaviour?

Re: SSD Checkbox
When and how did you set it? I.e. was it before running the VM, and using the GUI?
Re: SSD Checkbox
I spent some time to repoduce this behaviour. Simply create a XP VM with the default values (dynamic allocated VDI; installing the OS isn't necessary). Set the SSD checkbox and confirm the changes. Then exit VirtualbBox and wait 15 seconds. Finally start VirtualBox again and check if the SSD Flag is still set. I didn't tested all situations when this behaviour occour but it seems that restarting VirtualBox is one of them. I can repoduce this on two different Hosts.

Re: SSD Checkbox
Can you confirm it with a different guest? (AFAIK, the SSD flag is not supported by XP).
There is a discussion going on at the moment about a possible bug concerning updates to settings files, with a fix planned for v4.2.2. I have not kept track of that discussion, so I've just told you all I know about it.
