A USB device ID error

Post by N.T.Black »

This is error device ID in Virtualbox(XP)
Image

This is normal ID in host windows 8, more than a'&MI_02'.
This led me can not install drive.
Image

my Virtualbox is 4.2.0r80737(Extension Pack)

After my test the ID in Vmware is normal. I dont konw why.
Perhaps because the device is a USB Audio Class 2.0 device?

PS:my english is very much no good... :(

The image links you posted do not work. In any case there is no need for them - you can describe the (exact) text of the error message, or you can attach an image directly here.

the error ID in the virtualbox xp is

Code: Select all

USB\Vid_22e1&Pid_e102&Rev_0003
USB\Vid_22e1&Pid_e102

normal device ID in my host and VMware XP is

Code: Select all

USB\Vid_22e1&Pid_e102&Rev_0003&Mi_02
USB\Vid_22e1&Pid_e102&Mi_02
