Win XP Critical error

Hello, I want to run ubuntu inside WinXP
I use: VirtualBox VM 4.2.0
and get critical error after starting up a virtual machine

You can start Ubuntu as a live cd. Or install as Dual Boot.

I think it makes no sense to pay for new hardware for such old pcs.

It detects only 1gb of ram but i have 2, maybe it stopped working or VM doesn't detect it or slot is broken again. Gonna try to fix it.

replaced ram slots and seems to work again, 2gb of RAM ;)
Yup, virtualbox runs without any problems, so I can install ubuntu.
