Hi

I just updated Virtualbox to 4.1.23, I installed the extention pack, and i installed the guest additions from within with virtual machine. I can see my USB drive listed in the Devices menu but it is grayed out. Usualy that is a sign that i have not ejected it from the host. That is not the case. When I eject it from the host it is still grayed out in the VM. Can someone give me some idea of how to fix this. It was working properly before I went to the newer version of VBox

Since vb handles the type of USB drives differently, what type/kind of USB drive are you trying to use?

I am trying to use both a Lexar thumb drive and a external hard drive in an enclosure and get the same results with both.
Both the drives are formated in FAT32 format.
