Network Problems after insalling vb 4.1.12 on sever2008 r2

We am totally new to this.

We installed VB 4.1.12 on to a 2008 r2 server.

Before even running VB we lost connectivity to to network.

The server is Domain host.

We uninstalled VB and still no one can see to server.

Any hints were to start looking?

This sounds like it could be similar to what I am seeing. The presence of the "VirtualBox Host-Only Network" adapter on the host causes incoming connections to the host from the host's original lan to stop working. I assume there must be a simple reason for this but this is the only other report of a similar problem that I have found so far.

I have same issue on Windows 7.

In CONTROL PANEL>DEVICE MANAGER I disabled VIRTUAL BOX HOST-ONLY ETHERNET ADAPTOR and that seems of have fixed it for me.
