Hello, i created this topic looking for help, you see, i had the 4.1.20 version of VB installed in my MacBook Pro, i have Lion 10.7.4, recently i try to run it and it send me that annoying message that says "there is a new update for VB, the 4.1.23, i download it, and try to install it but it keeps showing me an error page, i really wish that i've never had clicked to that update button cause now i can't install any VB version, i'm desperate, i cant acces to my virtual machine any more cause it wont let me install virtual box again. the error message says: Error during the installation, the installer has detected an error that has obstructed to complete the installation, please make contact with your software developer to ask for assistance, sort of that, is a traduction of the original spanish message

Look at the installer log files in Console.app. There should be some hint as to why the install is failing.

I just checked and installing VirtualBox 4.1.23 on OS X Lion 10.7.5 went without a hitch, so there's not much I can say.
