I am new to virtualization, VirtualBox and Linux. I have VirtualBox 4.2.1 on a Mac OS X 10.7.5 system. I have a minimum system CentOS 6.3 installed. Installation of VirtualBox and CentOS were relatively painless. The Mac is wireless to a home DSL modem/router; no cables in the back.
I cannot reach the network with CentOS. I have two VirtualBox network adapters configured, first NAT, second Bridged Adapter, en1: Wi-Fi (AirPort). I had the adapters configured before installing CentOS from an iso file.
I have been googling and experimenting for quite awhile now. My guess is that there is a configuration problem on the CentOS side, but I'm climbing a steep learning curve from the bottom.
Any guidelines? If you just send me to places to read that would be fine.
Thanks, Trask

Re: CentOS 6.3 Can't Get to the Network
