Host: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Guests: Windows XP SP3
Virtualbox 4.2.0 with Guest and Host Extentions

I just started using VRDP to connect to my virtual machines (2) and I get periodic (ever 5 minutes to 1 hour) crashes go the guest. I can work from the host computer without problem and I can connect via TeamViewer to the guest without a problem. I've reinstalled the Host OS and all the updates and still have the problem. I've connected with a variety of Windows 7 computers using RDC and have the problem.

I downgraded to 4.1.22 and the crashing problem went away. It must be something related to 4.2.

I'm having the exact same problem on Windows 7, attempting to run Windows XP.

It worked fine yesterday, I shut down the guest OS properly. Attempted to boot up today, received the identical errors.

JDburnZ, this is a rather old thread, you may get better help starting a new one, since the version of Virtualbox you're using is likely different. You can reference this thread, but post your error and a log. see "Minimum info needed for assistance" viewtopic.php?f=24&t=48476
