What options to create a Linux 64 bit guest

Trying to create a 64 bit guest in order to test ESXi but after starting the host and selecting install all I get is a blank screen.
When creating the guest I chose Linux and have tried several of the 64 bit versions but none seem to work for me, any suggestions?

ESXi is a VMWare feature. What does this have to do with VirtualBox?

He want to test this, i think.
But ESXI is a Hypervisor. And inside VBOX such things are not supported.
See

As i know this is supported in VMWARE Workstation/Player. There are some vmx-settings to make this possible. But this is not the right placxe to discuss this.
Have a look here:

Ok, realize that ESX inside a VBox guest is not supported so will have to figure out another way to do what I wanted.
