In running a Windows 7 x64 machine with Windows XP x86 as guest. In my work I need to run a C++ program that needs a service to be able to login. The Service usually starts automatically thru a added administrator account. This account is setup as administrator, act as part of the operation system and given access to logon as a service.

However the service do not start automatically at startup nor can I start it manually thru services.msc. It says:

Error 1069: The service did not start due to a logon failure.

It only starts thru Local System Account but then I cant login in my program. The service need to run thru the added aministrator account.

Anyone have a clue why my added adminitrator account cant seem to be able to logon as a service?

Best Regards

I'm pretty sure you should be asking that in a Windows forum, since VirtualBox has absolutely no influence on user accounts, passwords etc - or practically any other software the guest runs.

I deleted your crosspost from the "Windows Hosts" forum. Cross posting is not allowed.

When I suggested that you pursue your Windows problem on a Windows forum, I meant a forum dedicted to supporting Windows users, e.g. one run by Microsoft or by other Windows users. I didn't mean another VirtualBox support forum: as I said before, I don't see how VirtualBox can be relevant to your problem, since it has no influence on such details of the guest OS.
