Windows 8 keeps hanging on shutdown

Hi,
I'm trying to install Windows 8 64 bit in a VirtualBox 4.1.2_Ubuntu r77245 virtual machine running on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise 64 bit. I have allocated all 4 cores and 4096 MB RAM to the VM, enabled 3D, I/O APIC and PAE/NX and I'm using an MT server network adapter. Basically it works fine, but in 90% of the cases the guest OS just freezes when I'm trying to shut it down. It hangs on the Windows shutdown message. As I don't want to continue setting up my machine if it's not working properly, I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
Thanks!
