Network access to Ubuntu guest

Hello all. First time post. New member. And what most forum users do not want to hear: Ubuntu Linux noob !!!
First off I apologize if I am posting in the wrong section. Mods are free to move if they see fit. I will try to keep it short and sweet.
Installed Ubuntu Server v.12.04.1 in Virtual Box v.4.1.22. The install went really well. I selected LAMP and am able to see the default web page:
It works! This is the default web page for this server. blah blah blah.
By the way, I should have mentioned that everything is running on my laptop. HP Pavilion dv2000 running WIN7 64bit.
My eth0 (DHCP) was assigned 192.168.56.101. I can access the machine with that IP fom the same laptop running Virtual Box. Unfortuantely, I cannot access the Ubuntu server from any of the other machines located on my internal network. eg. IP: 192.168.0.30 Subnet: 255.255.255.0 Gateway: 192.168.0.1
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Peter
