NooB QUESTION,PLEASE FORGIVE ME

hey im sort of a noob/newbie here. I have windows server 2008 r2 up and running on virtualbox with no problems, and this is gonna sound silly,but how do i connect it to my actual physical desktop ? so i can share files WINAIK,MDT etc ?
any help is greatly appreciated . thank you

Put them both in the same network, either host only or bridged. See chapter 6 in the manual.

what manual are you using ? im using the MCTS WIN7Config official books.....cant see anything......
