Can't get past I agree when installing XP SP3

I am running Mountain Lion and trying to install XP SP3. All the files install but when I get to the license agreement, I cannot get F8 to work so that I can accept the agreement. I have tried command-f8, option f8, shift f8 and control f8 but the system never accepts the input. I have also tried with F8 with capture the mouse and release the mouse. The VB version is 4.0. Thanks.

Um, it's the Function key. Not Command, not Option, not Control, not Tab, not Caps Lock, not Shift, not Escape.

If you don't know how to use your Mac, please ask a Mac expert for help. This has nothing to do with virtualization.

It's the key that has fn on it. On the full size keyboard it's usually above the section over the cursor keys and to the left of the numeric keypad. On the laptops it's in the lower left hand corner of the keyboard.
