Using 4.1.22 (on Linux and Mac as host). I consistently see the same error when doing an import of one or more VMs, if the total number of disks exceeds 9. I can export (seemingly) ok, but on import, the operation always fails with VERR_TAR_END_OF_FILE on DIsk10. In fact, I never actually have something called disk10, but that must be internal to the export process. This should be easily reproducible using the Sun FishWorks storage simulator. It uses 15 disks, so just bring it into VBox, then Export and Import. I have not tried to do this type of export using the "Legacy OVF" format, but that may be why the FIshworks was distributed as such in the first place.
