Does VirtualBox support systemd?

Hello,
I haven't had much luck finding any information regarding VirtualBox and SystemD support. Does VirtualBox support SystemD (If not, is there any plans in the future?)? Are there any complications to expect while using SystemD for service startup? There is currently a proposal in openSUSE to drop SysVInit completely on the next release.
