System Recovery

Post by Remcoo »

Hello people,

I installed VirtualBox & made a server.
This is the only thing i did,
now when i restart my host computer,
it goes into system recovery and VirtualBox is removed. (Server files are still present)
Whenever i try to reinstall VirtualBox and I restart, it just does the same.

My host computer has Windows 7 Home Premium and my server has Windows XP Professional.

Does anybody know how to fix this?

What does "made a server" mean? Details please.

Are you aware that VirtualBox must be installed with admin rights ("Run as administrator" if you have any doubts)?

I made a virtual box server (With windows XP)...
The problem doesn't lay with that server, but with VirtualBox itsself.
I have installed VirtualBox with Admin Rights.

The problem is that my own host pc does System Recovery, because of VirtualBox.

My pc also gets a Bluescreen: ndis.sys
Now i uninstalled VirtualBox via Safe mode and the errors were gone.

Does anybody know how to fix these ndis.sys error with VirtualBox still installed?

Ndis.sys error means that the network driver doesn't work.
When i checked the network adapters in Safe Mode, it showed some network adapters from VirtualBox.

I see i posted this in the wrong forum?
I think this should be in 'VirtualBox on Windows Hosts'.
