Text not showing up on VB ui

As you can see I can hilight the text on some windows, but other tabs it is almost as though the text is non-existent. I've completed uninstalled (using the Uninstall tool provided) and reinstalled VirtualBox-4.1.22-80657-OSX and other versions. None fix the issue. The box works fine, I just can't see any text! Any ideas or help would be great, thank you.
