I am trying to add 4 additional virtual network interfaces to my Guest OS. I have looked at the command "VBoxManage modifyvm", but I am not clear how to execute the commands.
Any help will be very appreciated.

first time using Virtualbox.

Go to the settings of the VM, you can set the adapters there.

You have not told us what your host OS is, so we cannot tell you in detail how to execute the VBoxManage command. In general you open up a terminal window, make sure your execution path is set correctly - or that you are in the folder that contains VBoxManage, then execute the command as described in the user manual.

The host OS is Windows 7, the guests OS are XenServer. Maximum adapters allowed from GUI is 4 in Virtualbox. I need more than 4 network adpaters.

In that case my previous reply is still correct. Yes, the max number of adapters represented in the GUI is 4, but ISTR that you can have up to 8 if you use VBoxManage to configure the additional ones - I''ve never needed to find out the details of how, but it looks straightforward, e.g. with "VBoxManage modifyvm --nic5 NAT" to configure a fifth adapter.
