i can not install VirtualBox-4.1.22-80657-Win.exe
i get an error.msi installer make rollback action
how i can do to install that?
i attached setup log.

Using 4.1.22 successfully on two Mac hosts, a 2011 Mini and a 2011 laptop -- able to run two or three VMs at the same time (hard drive access seems the choke point, will want to try putting VMs on several external drives and see if they run any faster that way).

Eagerly awaiting someone opening a discussion topic for the 4.2 release -- I know it's out, I see a few questions, but no general discussion yet.
I'd rather not be an early adopter for another change to 4.2 until it's been done by others --- as 4.1.22 is satisfactory as far as I can tell.

If it is not the download, it can only be your Microsoft installer. This is written by Microsoft, not VirtualBox, so you should post in a Windows forum. If the installer is sick you will not be able to install any other programs either.

I see a 4.1.23 release is out -- is there something to discuss about that?
Will whatever's in 4.1.23 be in a change to 4.2?

I ask because I've got a bunch of VMs on which I need to update Guest Additions, and would rather do it once than twice this week if possible.
(I know this is more about the release schedule than the specific 4.1.22 release -- seemed the best place to ask that I could find)

Note: The Mac OS X 10.8.2 release includes some incompatible changes which require adaptions in VirtualBox. Therefore the original 4.2 build was replaced by a 4.2.1 build.

Same for 4.1.22 versus 4.1.23

Hi,
i think this problem is for the Virtual Box installer.
i can install any other Msi or exe software
also i downloaded VirtualBox-4.2.0-80737-Win.exe
and again get rollback action at the end of install
Anyway i tricked installer
just launch main exe of Virtual Box.
then go to temp folder and make copy from Virtual Box folder then close main exe of Virtual Box.
now use Universal Extractor to extract file of Virtual Box(use msi administrator ).
then copy "Oracle VM VirtualBox" folder to program file directory.
now you must use this command in cmd
VBoxSVC.exe /ReRegServer
regsvr32.exe VBoxC.dll
then you must install VBoxDrv.inf by right click
and if you need other *.inf file you must install that one by one

And why did you not keep the sentences already translated in older versions ?

I don't believe that Oracle is the only corp which could not find people able to translate into french.
