Hi everyone,
I need your help to access internet from my virtual machine. I access internet from work via proxy (because i'm not in the site of servers) and using the default network card settings of VirtualBox fail to connect me to internet.
Host OS: Windows XP SP3
1. Logon session with Domain (user, password, domain)
2. Local network Settings: 192.168.70.x
3. Proxy: 172.16.0.52:8080
Guest OS: Ubuntu
1. system installed.
2. network settings (VirtualBox default)
3. I can ping my host and the router
Can you please help me on this issue

Try Bridged in the network settings. If that fails you will need to contact your IT department.
